The Community Action Partnership's
Dispute Resolution Center is providing
Conflict Resoution Training

Mediation helps resolve disputes before they can escalate to violence and/or litigation. Mediation is a process, which allows individuals or groups of people who are involved in a conflict to work with a neutral third party in developing a solution that is fair and equitable. Mediators, who do not make judgments or offer solutions, help facilitate communication between parties to aid them in creating their own solutions. The life skills of conflict resolution, good communication, listening and problem-solving helps all of us deal effectively with life's stress.
