We have discussed our collective responsibility for human dignity, equity and well-being. It is time to bring this focus and energy to ending the tragedy of poverty in our communities.
FULFILLING THE PROMISE:
COMMUNITY ACTION PLAN 2012-2013
CAP Riverside has conducted a county-wide needs assessment, distributing 7,500 surveys to low-income Riverside County residents regarding the situation of poverty in Riverside County. This survey formed the basis of the 2012-2013 Community Action Plan, which is required by law to be submitted every two years. This document describes how CAP Riverside will address these needs over the next two years.
The plan was approved by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, June 7 and has been submitted to the State. The entire Community Action Plan may be accessed at the link below:

Results from CAP Riverside’s 2011 community assessment survey and community dialogues indicates there are many challenges to ending poverty in Riverside County.
